A recently released achievements list points towards new multiplayer DLC for sci-fi shooter Crysis 3. According to the list, the 250G pack adds an additional four multiplayer maps – Creek, Crossing, Ascent and Coastline as well as two new modes – Frenzy and Team Possession.

Good news for gamers’ all around it would seem today, firstly EA are doing away with their annoying ‘online pass’ and now Microsoft have confirmed that they will be getting rid of their MS points system which is the primary currency on Xbox Live to purchase DLC and the likes and opting for a gift card approach.

If your a console gamer, you no doubt have a (very strong) opinion on games that come with single user online passes and especially if you prefer to rent or buy pre-owned games or even borrow from your mates. Well it looks like a change is coming as one of the biggest game publishers in the world EA ditch the online pass!

Over the past week or so I have been fortunate enough to be able to put the Razer Sabertooth controller to the test. Having only previously used a standard Microsoft Xbox controller, which I think is very good for a standard controller, I was excited to see what a high-end third party manufacturer such as Razer could deliver.

Gran Turismo 5 was and always will be a great racing game, a racing game that has defined the standard that a racing sim needs to be at for the current generation of consoles and nothing has come close, the only thing that can beat a Gran Turismo game is another Gran Turismo game. It seems that EA ‘Electronic Arts’ aren’t settling for being one of the biggest game publishers and developers on PC and console, they are now backing the mobile gaming market with their Frostbite Go engine for iOS and Android.
