Diablo III was a monster hit when released on PC a year ago yesterday, it was highly anticipated by gamers across the world for many years and when it did get released it set a new record for the fastest-selling PC game with 3.5 million copies being sold in the first 24 hours. Insane figures right? Well Blizzard not too long ago announced that it will be released on PS3 and PS4, will more records be set? We’ll have to wait and see, in the meanwhile take a look at this Exclusive video from Sony.

The new Batman game releases have gone from strength to strength in my opinion and since the announcement of Batman: Arkham Origins back in April I have been waiting very patiently for some game footage. Today, the wait is sort of over with this newly released teaser trailer but a full trailer will be released on 20th May so not much longer at all.

A recently released achievements list points towards new multiplayer DLC for sci-fi shooter Crysis 3. According to the list, the 250G pack adds an additional four multiplayer maps – Creek, Crossing, Ascent and Coastline as well as two new modes – Frenzy and Team Possession.

Good news for gamers’ all around it would seem today, firstly EA are doing away with their annoying ‘online pass’ and now Microsoft have confirmed that they will be getting rid of their MS points system which is the primary currency on Xbox Live to purchase DLC and the likes and opting for a gift card approach.

If your a console gamer, you no doubt have a (very strong) opinion on games that come with single user online passes and especially if you prefer to rent or buy pre-owned games or even borrow from your mates. Well it looks like a change is coming as one of the biggest game publishers in the world EA ditch the online pass!

Over the past week or so I have been fortunate enough to be able to put the Razer Sabertooth controller to the test. Having only previously used a standard Microsoft Xbox controller, which I think is very good for a standard controller, I was excited to see what a high-end third party manufacturer such as Razer could deliver.

Gran Turismo 5 was and always will be a great racing game, a racing game that has defined the standard that a racing sim needs to be at for the current generation of consoles and nothing has come close, the only thing that can beat a Gran Turismo game is another Gran Turismo game. Quite possibly THE biggest game of the year Call of Duty: Ghosts published by Activision is in the middle of collating people for a focus group through Call of Duty Elite for an upcoming CoD event in Los Angeles.

It seems that EA ‘Electronic Arts’ aren’t settling for being one of the biggest game publishers and developers on PC and console, they are now backing the mobile gaming market with their Frostbite Go engine for iOS and Android.
